One of my favorite places to decorate is our bedroom. I know it’s not a typical space to style for the holidays, but I find that it makes thw whole house feel more cozy and relaxing.

With that said, I usually try and keep it simple in here. Layered wreaths above our bed is one of my favorite ways to bring that Christmas feel into this space.
For my vanity, I just add some candles and copper twinkle lights
I love how the copper lights accentuate the gold details on my vintage mirror and hair brush set.
I haven’t done much with this view of the bedroom. Someday I will hide that TV, but until then playing Netflix’s fireplace on it always warms up the space.
I love minimal decor in general, so any touches of Christmas that I add is always more “vintage themed” to keep that “less is more” feeling.
We still have a roommate, so everything has to be placed out of reach. Haha!
I love how the white shiplap walls make any color in the space POP.
We have a sisal rug under the bed to add another layer of cozy.
Adding those warm elements to the space truly add a cozy glow.
On our “nightstand” we have a vintage reproduction radio that lights up when on. I’ve been playing Christmas carols on the radio with it. I love how it adds that old time Christmas feel.
Our bedding is from Target (also, this Hearth & Hand one is almost identical) And the pillows are from Magic Linen.
On our nightstand, I added some garland mixed in with candles from Antique Candle Co & my flickering LED candles.
I don’t know if I ever mentioned this, but Silas built this bed for us.
This vanity was a FB marketplace find. I stripped down the old varnish to reveal the old wood. This beauty is a true vintage find. I love it so much.
Our curtains are hung on a wooden dowel, clipped with some hooks I aged with vinegar and salt to look rusty and antique.
I built the “headboard” architectural piece. You can see the tutorial and building plans for that HERE. If you want to see how I got the chippy, crusty old look on it, check out this tutorial HERE.
These hairpin legs are form my favorite: Crates & Pallet.
I also have a stool built with the same legs for my vanity.
So that’s about it. I’m off to celebrate & soak in the season.
