We Gather Together To Ask The Lord’s Blessing – Free “Gather” Thanksgiving Hymn For An Autumn Farmhouse (October & November Fall Printables)

Hello Friends! I am writing this as we are preparing to return to our sweet little farmhouse after being displaced from Hurricane Florence. I don’t know what we will be driving back to, or how damaged our beautiful costal Carolina communities will be, but I feel like this season has taught me to be grateful. When we were leaving our home during our evacuation, “Amazing Grace” came on over the radio, and I finally started crying. It made me think about how John Newton wrote that song when he himself was facing a violent storm. I obviously didn’t plan this- it just so happens that the theme of my fall farmhouse decor perfectly sums up my life right now. So I thought it would be an appropriate time to share the Thanksgiving Themed Fall Farmhouse Artwork I made into free printables. The prints are based off the hymn “We Gather Together.” It sums up my emotions perfectly in this season of my life.

We gather together to ask the Lord’s Blessing.

Whatever storms we have faced, and whatever we lose, as long as I have my loved ones I don’t need anything else. Seriously. This September, October, and November I am focusing on having a grateful heart. As long as I have my friends and family gathered safely around me, I have the Lord’s blessing in my life. What more could I ask for.

I love the way the phrase “We Gather Together To Ask The Lord’s Blessing” flows across my dining room. I did take both paintings down off my wall before leaving the house… and put them upstairs, just to make sure they stayed safe during the storm. But as soon as I can I am going to put them back up on my dining room/kitchen wall.

I had previously lettered this song on my fall chalkboard wall (see it HERE) and I loved it so much I just had to make it into a permanent art piece that I didn’t have to erase.

Thank you for all of your encouragement and love for our family and the Carolinas as we face the aftermath of Hurricane Florence.  I don’t know if we will have power when we get back, so I wanted to schedule this post ahead of time in case I am not able to get online for an extended period of time.

Please continue to pray for our communities recovery during this fall season.
