Hey Everyone! Who’s ready for the top 40 Best Ikea Modern Farmhouse Decor Finds?! Those of you who follow my Instagram Adventures at @welivedhappilyeverafter know that my husband surprised me and took me to Ikea! Ahhhh! We did a video tour of what to buy at Ikea & I had a blast taking you all along. I found some awesome decor products that will look amazing in our farmhouse style home. So today I’m sharing my top favorite finds from Ikea: the products I purchased, the ones I wish I had passed up, and the ones I wish I hadn’t left behind. This list ended up being about 40 items. And you can buy almost all of them online! Whoop! So without further adieu, here are my top Ikea products picks for your modern farmhouse themed kitchen & home decor.

I’ve been to Ikea twice, but both times we just stopped by super quick, smack in the middle of a 12 hour drive. So needless to say, we didn’t have any space to spare in our car. This time I went a little crazy… okay, a lot crazy. But it was a blast. Above you can watch all the highlights of our trip summed up in a video tour of what farmhouse decor finds to buy from Ikea! But let’s face it- this video is more about Silas (the loving husband who spends ALL of his money on his wife at Ikea…) Haha!

With all that said, let me share with you the breakdown list of what I brought home with me.

TEKLA – Dish Towel -$0.79

These dish towels are my favorite ikea item. Not only are they super cheap for the quality, but they are adorable and give me all the grain sack farmhouse vibes. I love how they age as well- they kind of become a more creamy color with use.

I am obsessed with these cushions. We got 4 in white, but I kind of wish we had gone with beige to match my bench. They are SUPER comfy, and guess what, if they get dirty, you can just plop them into the wash!

GEMAK Colander, off-white – $9.99

Ahhhhhh- this is the cutest thing I bought. Like can a colander be any more adorable? I already have a gorgeous mint colored one from TJ MAXX (don’t tell my husband! Shhhh!) but I couldn’t pass up this beauty when it came in my favorite color (everything is white on white on white in my home decor- haha!)  And can you beat this price?

   

URSULA Cushion cover, white – $14.99

Okay, I live like 5+ hours away from the closest Ikea, so I’m no expert. But I saw these in another blogger’s home and I just KNEW I had to get my hand on them. These pillow covers are the most gorgeous farmhouse item I’ve purchased to date. I bought 4, but I wish I had grabbed more. Personally, I think they would be amazing on a couch. And that striped opening has my heart skipping a beat.

INNER Inner cushion, (polyester) white – $7.00

FJÄDRAR Inner cushion, (down) white – $10.00

I got the polyester cushions to go inside the ursula pillowcases. I had to fluff them quite a bit to get them to fill them out. I did get smaller down filled pillow inserts a couple Ikea trips ago, but they leak feathers EVERYWHERE. So I wanted to try out their polyester ones this time around.

IKEA 365+ VÄRDEFULL Can opener, black – $6.99

There’s a funny story about this item in my video at the top of this post… so I’ll just let you all watch it.

MAGASIN Rolling pin – $5.99

I didn’t even know that they would have these beauties in all their raw wood splendor. So I was SUPER excited to find them. I’ve been wanting to start a collection of assorted rolling pins, and getting two of them for such a cheap price (price is per item, btw) will jumpstart it! I’m thinking about oiling them to bring out the character in the wood.

IRIS Pot holder / 2 pack, gray – $1.99

I was in need of some new pot holders… so that’s why I grabbed these. Haha!

Sadly they only had the Spoon version of these utensils, otherwise I would have grabbed several of the other variations as well. I LOVE my wooden cooking utensils. They tell a story with their use. I’m all sentimental like that.

KORKEN Jar with lid, clear glass (2.1 qt) – $4.99

So I grabbed three of these to store long pasta in my pantry… but discovered that one of them was broken on the lid when I got home. I’m pretty positive it was like that when I bought it… and that I just missed it… So my advice is to actually open each jar, install the rubber divider to protect the jar (they come inside the jar) and wrap them good with packing paper.

I only got the 1.9 qt ones this time around. But assuming I like them, I’m sure I’ll stock up on more my next trip. #stash

FÄRGMÅRA Sheet set, white – Twin: $9.99 Queen: $14.99 King: $24.99

We need new sheets for our queen bed (which will soon go into the guest room), and since we want to upgrade to a king sized soon, I grabbed some sheets in that size as well. I haven’t tried using them yet, but I thought they felt really good in the store.

Okay, this next item is a two part project. Silas built the kids a massive bunkbed recently, and I wanted to get cute matching blankets for it. So I checked out the duvet covers in hope that I would find something good…

NYPONROS Duvet cover and pillowcase(s), gray – Twin: $24.99 Full/Queen/King: $29.99

I fell in love with these stripped ones the moment my eyes laid sight on them. They just look so cute & classy. Perfect for a gender neutral farmhouse bunkbed boy/girl room. They come with a pillowcase too.

TILKÖRT Comforter, cooler – $27.99

We did look at their $10 option for comforters, but the I saw these ones, and the looked so much more durable and long lasting. So this is what we put inside their duvet covers.

   

VARDAGEN Measuring cups, set of 4 – $5.99

I’ve been using the same broken metal measuring cup ever since we got married 7 years ago… so I spoiled myself and splurged on this set. I like how they are solid metal and not flimsy or plastic. They also come on a ring so you can either separate them, or keep them all together.

Alright, not quite ready to show you what I am doing with these babies. But they are my FAVORITE useful product for organizing. It’s a rod and hook set that can be used for so many purposes. And of course, I got all of mine in black.

We got the larger door mat, and I am in LOVE with it. So durable for the price & it looks great indoors or outdoors. I kinda wish I had gotten one or two more for our outdoor entries.

   

Seriously, everything at Ikea is SO cute. And I love how they have really stepped up their modern farmhouse game. Everything is minimalistic, and yet purposeful, which totally speaks to my style.  So now that I have shared my top farmhouse Ikea favorites, here are the things I wish I had passed up, what I wish I would have taken home, and what I will probably buy next time (ummm, the whole store, okay?)

WHAT I WISH I HAD PASSED UP:

• Everything I purchased is super useful, but I do kind of wish I had gotten the off white chair cushions instead of pure white. Funny story: Speaking of white, when I was in the pillow section, one lady next to me turned to her friend and said, “Can you imagine getting WHITE pillows?!” I almost blurted out a laugh, as I grabbed all the white things in the store. Haha!
• And like I said before, I wish I had checked the lids to make sure they were all intact.
