Moving back north has been wonderful because we get to experience the seasons in a much richer way compared to seasons in the south. The kids especially love playing in the snow. That said, I was super excited to deck out the Aframe for Christmas this year.
I started out by using the Afloral Norfolk pine wreath. It’s the most realistic wreath I’ve ever seen. The way the pine branches lay is just so beautiful. I also used their artificial potted Norfolk Pine Trees on both sides of our front door outside.
Inside, I couldn’t wait to highlight the spiral staircase with some drooping garlands. Ever since I saw this staircase, I had a vision for how it would look during Christmas. The viral Norfolk Pine Garland did not disappoint. In fact, I want to get more next year.
We did a simple, more minimalistic tree this year, with dried oranges on the flocked branches. I would love to do a real tree in here, but we heat with a wood burning stove all winter long, and it would dry it out too fast (and be too close to the tree)
Here’s another view of the stairs + garland.
And then you know I had to add a garland over this sink. I may cry a little when it comes time to take it down.
While this house is nowhere near finished, its wonderful to see it looking so cozy.
I seriously can’t believe how real those pine branches look!
Here’s a better view of our old time, vintage tree. Tinsel, orange garland, and individual dried orange slices.
That’s it for now friends! I hope to share the behind the scenes of all the projects in this space soon. In the meantime, check out how different the house looked like when we moved in HERE.
