I am going to share my top secret cookie recipe with you all. It’s the reason I have friends. Haha!
So now you will have the power of the very BEST chocolate cookies in your hands.
My secret? You need to under-bake the cookie. Take them out while still slightly gooey. That will give you the most perfect moist cookie you have ever tasted.
Overall, these cookies are fail proof. I bake LOTS of cookies, it’s kind of my specialty. But sometimes my tried and true recipes still pancake on me.
I have made these ones like 100 times, and they have not failed me yet.
The only thing you can do wrong with these babies is burn them.
The batter itself is fool proof.
Here’s the recipe. I usually triple it & freeze a bunch for cookies on demand.
Andes Mint Double Chocolate Cookies
Mix the following ingredients together in a kitchen aid:
1 c. White Sugar
1 c. Brown Sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. peppermint extract
1 tsp. salt.
2 c. Flour
1 c. Cocoa
2 tsp. Baking Soda
1 c. Butter, melted
2 c. Milk Chocolate Chips
Freeze & Bake:
Roll the dough into small balls, and flash freeze until hard. An hour should be good.
Bake frozen cookies at 350 until slightly underdone. 5-10 minutes.
Swirl an Andes Mint on top!
