It’s happening. I honestly can’t believe it. We’ve spent the past two years fixing up & renovating our first home, and it’s time to put it on the market. As of today it’s showing ready!
Looking back, I realize I haven’t really done a full house tour. It’s probably becuase we’ve been designed and renovated this house room by room, so I’ve only shared gradual progress. And wouldn’t you know it, we got everything done now that we are selling it. That’s what a to-do list does for you.
Here’s some photos from the listing. It’s a sweet 3 bedroom 2 bath located in New Bern, North Carolina. I’ll be doing a room by room tour in the next coming weeks. That way I don’t overload you all with pictures right now. But with that said, prepare to be overloaded with pictures below… Ha!

It’s sort of bitter sweet because we’ve poured our hearts into this house, and made it so beautiful. But I am so excited that someone else will get a chance to call it home. We put it on the market this morning, and it already has had a showing. Being 27 weeks pregnant, with a five & 2 year old, I am certainly hoping it sells fast, so I don’t have to pick up all the toys for multiple showings. Haha!
I utterly love the subtle details you’ve added- most of all the finishing details above the doors and windows. It adds such class and charm. And I love the whimsy of the children’s rooms. They rockers are fantastic! The only thing I think should be more prominent is your artwork! It’s so beautiful. Best wishes for a quick sale and an uneventful remainder of your pregnancy.
You must be so sad to leave that beautiful floral mural in June’s room!
Your home is just lovely! Best wishes for a quick sale.
Hannah, love some of the things you’ve done since we were in your home last. It is so beautiful!! I am sure your hard work will pay off soon! Praying for a sale, though I am sure you have mixed feelings. Hope you’ve seen my FB messages. Love you! “Aunt” ~K

Hi,
Thank you very much.
….do you think, I can paint this in tiles ?
Now that I have “seen” the whole house, it just amzes me how wonderful it all is. No wonder you got buyers so quickly. Your staging tips should help many of your readers sell their house quickly too. Because it is all netral/white, the buyers didn’t have to deal with any colors they didn’t like and the house has so much charm and personality it can be moved into in days. Great job and thanks for sharing. (Your bedroom is still my favorite!)
You are seriously the sweetest. Thank you so much for saying that!
