Industrial Farmhouse Fixer Upper Style Metal Chairs For your Home – #HannahsFarmhouseFavs

Welcome to the newest addition of #HannahsFarmhouseFavs. My husband has a really, really large family, and with all the traffic & wear and tear one thing his parent’s invested in was solid chairs for the kitchen. And by solid, I mean metal. They are surprisingly comfortable, as durable as anything, and have a great industrial-farmhouse, Fixer Upper feel. I’ve been telling myself for ages that we would get some Metal Chairs for our home, so I wentonline to see if I could find the right ones. And I found more than just one! Now I just have to choose which style I like best.

The silver chair (#4) is the type my in laws have, but I think the top two contenders for the Hathaway household are #5 and #7. But I also love #2. You all know how much I love white, so why not add some white chairs to fuel my obsession? Haha! But for contrast, I was thinking I may mix it up and add some contrasting colors into my decor, which is why I was thinking a darker chair might be a better choice. I just love the industrial vibe metal chairs bring, and the more distressed looking the better, in my opinion. Which chairs do you think would look best in a farmhouse setting? Stay tuned for more products.

We picked the #4 because if you have limited table space and a lot of people to put around our research was that 15 inches wide was the smallest you could go for comfort. We had 6 larger chairs that helped us decide that aluminum was the way to go but 16 or more chairs would mean a kitchen addition which we were not going to do. We had just sealed our hardwood floors and found the chairs light on the floor, they would not scratch unlike heavier cast iron-choice of material #2, washable-I had washed the backs right off my last excellent quality hardwood chairs, and we bought 24 and got them at a bulk price delivered to the door. At that time, about 14 years or more ago, I had to dig deep for them anywhere on the internet. Army aluminum chairs online were going for over $500 each at the time. We got ours for $69 each delivered-would have been $100 each for less than 24. If I didn’t need so many I would have gotten together with a friend and split the order. I still love the chairs and they have held up well. I have loaned them out to some of the children as starter chairs for their first apt and hope to use them forever. I like some of the new styles too. I think you have to look at the space and size of table.
