How fabulous is this? I mean, Adult Coloring Sheets just got an upgrade! A watercolor upgrade! I think painting is so therapeutic, so this collection of printables is something I wanted to create as a craft for my kids and I to do together.

If you use these free forest animal printables, please feel free to tag me on Instagram (@welivedhappilyeverafter) so I can see your coloring creation masterpieces!

I made these coloring sheets specifically for my daughter, June. She’s quite the little artist

I’ve always been an animal lover, and grew up drawing & painting animals. So it’s only natural that as an adult I create some printable coloring sheets for my kids (and myself!)

With these coloring sheets you can really let your imagination go wild & can be used with markers, pencils & paints. Or just print and hang for some fabulous black and white animal wall art.

These coloring sheets are sort of Beatrice Potter inspired. Nothing better than Peter Rabbit! I can totally see these as forest themed baby shower decorations. Or as a craft for a girls night in. Sign me up!

To use this set in a more sophisticated way than traditional coloring sheets, use watercolor paints with them! I recommend using a thick, heavy watercolor paper. I’m going to share the type I personally use with my affiliate links below. It gives the finished piece a beautiful texture.

Thank you so much for these! My two grand daughters will love coloring these. Question though: where did you get the wooden hanger that these are displayed in? I would love this to hang up their art.

    • Hannah Hathaway says:

Aww- that is so awesome! I’m sure they will love it. I went ahead and added the link to the frame next to the links for the paper & paints I use. Hope that helps!

  4. Shonnie says:

These are adorable!! Such a great job!!

I just wanted to ask if you allow them to be used for commercial use?

    • Hannah Hathaway says:

Hey! Thanks for asking, but no. I do not allow my artwork to be used for commercial purposes.

      Thank you.

  5. Rashidah says:

How are we suppose to prevent the printer ink from smudging when paint it with watercolor? Even printed on 200g or 300g watercolor paper weight, the ink still smudge.
