Today I am sharing a new tour of our reading nook, complete with a summer camping theme!

Something magical happens when you combine art with imagination and reading.

When you enter the wardrobe, you are greeted by the warm glow of lanterns.

When I was inspired to create this secret nook, I knew it would be a place where my children would grow their love of reading. It’s a small space, but perfect for snuggling up during family story time.

We read books in here before bedtime, so I thought it would be fun to include a few stacks of books in addition to the camping theme for summer.

To make the space even cozier, I layered these rechargeable flameless Miracle Flame LED Votives from Balsam Hill.

I also put this cute DIY A Frame Tent (tutorial HERE) for the kids to play in.

But my favorite part of the whole space are the Frosted Alpine Trees from Balsam. They add such a magical element to the reading nook with their twinkling, realistic branches.
