A while back, I did a fall tablescape tour with some instagram friends. I just realized that I never shared those photos here. So I thought today it would be fun to give you a quick tour of what I’m naming my Beauty And The Beast inspired fall tablescape.
The reason it reminds me of Beauty And The Beast is becuase of the antique candlesticks I’ve been collecting throughout the year.
I had this vision last winter of doing a collection of antique candlesticks all across the farmhouse table Silas built me. So whenever I saw candlesticks while out antiquing, I always grabbed them!
My theme for this fall season has been “cozy.” I just want my home to feel like a welcoming place that invites you to curl up on the couch with a blanket to cuddle.
Our kitchen pretty much stays the same through all the holidays, but I like to add a few simple seasonal elements here and there. I find that nature offers the best holiday decor. So I bring in all those timeless decorations like these heirloom pumpkins I grew.
Candle light never fails to make a space cozy.
I love how the flames softly flicker. I wish I could keep them burning all the time.
I intentionally left a few of the candlesticks empty, and added them staggered throughout for some extra visual interest.
I’m a true introvert, so making my home a cozy place where I can relax is very important to me.
While I wouldn’t call my self a minimalist, I strive to be intentional about what items we have in our home. They all have to serve a purpose, and I like making the every day functional things a beautiful statement.
All the simple pieces in my home have really come together to make this a welcoming space.
One of my favorite ways to decorate for any season is this DIY Letter Board Wreath I made. It’s so easy to change up the saying, and is another great subtle way to decorate for the holidays without being “in your face” or over the top.
Well, that’s it for now. I am getting the urge to decorate for the next holiday, but at the same time I just want fall to stay around for a little while longer.
