Here are the exact supplies I use for my paintings (paint brushes, watercolor paint, watercolor paper, and masking fluid)

Now that my health scare is over, I feel like I finally have the emotional energy to create more content for my little happy blog. So I thought I would kick things off by sharing one of my all time favorite art pieces as a freebie watercolor coloring sheet. You can see a video of me painting this piece from start to finish HERE.

First, you will need to print the digital download freebie on the bottom of this post.

I started off this piece by painting a blend of yellows, blue, and black for the sky. Make sure this area is completely dry before moving on to the mountain.

Next, I added a soft grey blue background for the forest section.

Then I painted little sections of the mountain scape.

Next, you should keep adding layers of different shades for texture.

The next step is to add some trees and foliage.

Once all the above is dry, add another layer of colors over the mountain.

Keep on adding more shades to give it that rigged rustic mountain peak look.

Then add white highlights to look like snow.

Now for my favorite part- add stars!

Lastly, I like to add fine veins & squiggle details on my mountains.
