Now jute rugs have a few quirks, so to be transparent I thought I would share some of the things we have noticed since having them in our house. You will have lots of extra fibers from the rug in your house, but a simple vacuum cleans them up just fine, so that doesn’t bother us. Also, one unique thing about jute rugs is they can smell a little musty the first couple days you own them. But they normalize once they have aired out a bit. They are very soft, which was surprising to me, considering that they have so much texture to them. But most of all, they are gorgeous & are my number one pick for floor coverings. I think what I love most about jute rugs is how they blend in with wood accents due to their natural coloring. I will 100% always have them in my home.
