I have the BEST news! I am always getting asked where we got our forged steel brackets from, and now they are being sold in ALL Home Depot Stores!

I love how these brackets match all the other black design elements in my house, like my mug rack, and my ikea pot rack.

And they match my black Kitchen Faucet. Praise be.

We used the 8″ brackets for our kitchen shelving.

Crates And Pallet is the company that makes these brackets, and they also have some super cool forged steel hairpin legs that they sell online.

These brackets were one of the very first things I knew I wanted in our kitchen and pantry… and slowly but surely, they are taking over the rest of our house.

For these shelves I used the 6″ brackets.

They are THAT addicting. And I love how they fit both tick 2″ and thin 1″ lumber. So if you want a light an airy look, you can use a thin shelf, and if you need heavy duty strength you can use the thicker boards.

And remember that Pantry that was in a magazine this month? Yep! These beautiful black brackets are in there too!

And the best part…..

Each bracket can hold the weight of a grown freaking man. Yep. Crazy, I know.

So it was a no brainer to include them in our pantry where there would be some major heavy jars and such.

We used a combo of the 10″ and the 12″ brackets in the pantry for deeper shelving.

It’s been a year since we built this pantry, and it still makes my heart skip a beat.
