Hey ya’ll! I’m doing a super simplistic, rustic, natural Christmas this year. I mean, we still splurged on Elsa wrapping paper (which is so not in the color theme! But June will only be three once!) Other than that, I’m going all natural everywhere else. To be honest, I am such a picky decorator, so minimal touches here and there are what I feel most happy with.
We opted for a faux tree this year because we really didn’t like any of the ones we saw (in like 6 different places…) but I did grab myself some real branches from the trim pile at Lowes. I’ve been doing it for years because they are free!
I separated & trimmed the branches into smaller, twig size branches.
Then I simply tied the ends together.
I am IN LOVE! I think I need to find somewhere else to do this in my house!
I am SO happy I kept this hutch natural instead of painting it all white. You can see the DIY for it HERE.
Off to decorate more! I’ll share any progress I make here later! XO
Love that cabinet in the background. Is that a sliding door?
Thanks! Yes, it is. We made it ourselves. You can see the how to here: http://www.welivedhappilyeverafter.com/2015/11/diy-farm-hutch-part-1.html
