Hello September! It’s my birthday month, and I wanted to create something unique for you all to celebrate! This watercolor painting has a mysterious, yet enchanting feel. It really makes me thing of sitting down and reading a good book. I grew up reading lots of classics & fairytales. Hands down my favorites were always the ones containing fantasy elements. You can definitely see how that literature influenced me as an artist, as I love to envision the world, not as it is, but what it could be.

Earth naturally has many gorgeous colors, but I feel like the tones I paint with are not always the common colors we think of when we encounter nature. This one is super soft and dream, and as you would have it, I did a process video on my instagram, and thought it would be fun to share on here.
