Disclaimer: This is a sponsored post, but I ONLY share things I love and think you will too.

Confession, I am a plant killer. While I have had great success growing things in my outdoor garden, I haven’t been able to keep any indoor plants alive.

Insert Gardyn, the hydroponic indoor growing machine of my dreams.

Watch the above video for a full tour!

Year long indoor garden? Yes please! The moment I first saw Gardyn, my mind was blown away! I’ve always loved gardening outside, but have always struggled to keep plants alive indoors. This hydroponic system has changed the way my family does salad and veggies. Now we can grow them inside, 365 days a year. And since there is no soil involved, we can just cut & eat without even washing.

To get a nice discount off your Gardyn use code HANNAH for $100 off.

Let me show you how it works. Prepare to be amazed.

The Gardyn is a hydroponic system that grows plants indoors with just water & plant food. There is no dirt involved.

This system starts with a simple seed. It is planted in Rockwool (its a type of insulation, that works perfectly as a soil substitute for growing indoors) Plant roots love it!

Gardyn is able to grow 30 plants at a time. They offer anything from your favorite leafy greens, to fruits and veggies ranging from tomatoes, peppers, eggplant, cucumbers, peas, and even strawberries! When you get your system, it comes with 30 different varieties, but you can experiment with the many other options they have, or even try your hand at growing your own seeds.

I’ve even seen people grow mini watermelons in their systems. Like WHAT?

Here’s a view of the app.

The Gardyn is equipped with a smart assistant named Kelby, who gives you helpful pointers & reminders in the app. It even has cameras that are able to recognized what you are growing. The little dots on the side act as a visual key to help the app recognize your plants before the sprout.

Gardyn takes away the need for a green thumb, and does all the work for you. The tank holds 6 gallons of water, and has an automatic watering schedule. It even has a vacation mode that can slow down the growth of your plants while you are away.

You can, of course, control everything manually as well. But the thing I love most about this system is its ability to run everything automatically on a schedule.

There are two bars in front of the plants which has LED lights (to help your plants grow big and strong). I normally have mine on from 5 am- 9 pm.

On top of the light bar is a camera that helps monitor your plants growth. The camera also communicates with the app, and will tell you when your plants are blooming, when they are big enough to harvest, and other awesome tips.

I love that you can grow a variety of plants, but I think I’m most excited about the peppers and tomatoes.

Look at the root system on this leafy green- it’s barely 3 weeks old and has exploded in growth!

I will keep you all updated on how the plants grow. There are special things you need to do to keep your hydroponic plants happy (like adding peroxide to the tank to keep the water clean, how to pollinate your fruiting plants by hand, etc) So keep your eyes out for more posts!

There is something so therapeutic about plants. If you are stressed out, I highly reccomend gardening (indoors, outside or both!) I can’t tell you how good it has been for my soul to spend some quiet time each day with my plants.
