I always get kinda stumped when it comes to decorating for holidays like Valentines Day. This year I decided to keep it super simple and just use our Letter Board Wreath to put up cute quotes, sayings, and lyrics about love. So here are some of the ones I’ve put up so far this month (see the ones I did for Christmas HERE!) To see how to make your own DIY Letter Board Wreath, check out my post HERE.

The first one I put up is this quote from Emily Brontë. It always sends chills up my back. The reader in me loves it so much!
“Whatever Souls Are Made Of His And Mine Are The Same.”
That’s one thing I love about using smaller light box letters (Get them HERE!) and having 4 rows to add text- you can do longer quotes.
Next I went for a more classic Valentines Day saying…
“Roses Are Red Violets Are Blue.”
For the next design, I had to go all Mr. Darcy. I mean, can you get more romantic than Pride & Prejudice by Jane Austen? I think not!
“You Must Allow Me To Tell You How Ardently I Admire And Love You.”
Next, I went back to a simpler quote. I love how this one only took up the middle two rows.
“Love Is Patient. Love Is Kind.”
Lastly, I had to include lyrics from one of my favorite songs. I was so excited that it actually fit. I had to brainstorm about the composition a bit on this one.
“I Have Loved You For A Thousand Years And I’ll Love You For A Thousand More.”
I’m sure I’ll come up with some more before February 14th rolls around.
But I just wanted to share my ideas so far.
That’s one of the best things about this letter board wreath. You can switch up the feel & mood of the room with just a couple letters. I also love including the kids while putting up these designs. Sometimes I’ll just dump all the letters on the table and have them help me find the words.
I really try to stick to simple elements in my home decor, and avoid the commercial, mass produced look. So simple arrangements like this in our house really make the space flow & look bright and airy.
No pink over here… yet… but I do have a 7 year old daughter, so I’m sure there will end up being hearts somewhere!
