Hello Friends!
It’s been a little quiet around here since Thanksgiving. I’m so proud of myself, becuase I resisted the urge to put up my christmas decor until now. So I thought I would show you all a quick sneak peek of what my holiday farmhouse dining room looks like.

I am one of those people who likes to build a collection of items. I try to add a DIY decoration here and there each year, and I’ve slowly added a few quality pieces to our holiday decor throughout the years. For example, the “Better Not Pout” sign, the nativity artwork, and and the cute “snow” cut out were all created two years ago in our old house.
This vintage looking letter board was a new creation this year. You can see the DIY for it (and where to buy the letters and wreath supplies)Â HERE.
These wreaths are actually $2 Walmart wreaths. I just added some extra pine greenery & fresh leaves from a bush outside. Mixing all three makes it look like a much higher end decoration. I mean, I wish I could afford & justify buying a $50 wreath… but I love how these ones turned out. And now they are personal & unique to us.
These sweet gingerbread houses are made with, ready for it? Pallets! You can see my DIY for them HERE (I even made a video of the process!)
All my pottery is Rae Dunn from TJ Maxx (Homegoods and Marshalls also carries them) They have lettering on the other side. But I was just craving simplicity in this season of “heavy decor” so I turned them around.
These aren’t specific to Christmas, but you can find the plans for our farmhouse table HERE, and see how I made my DIY salvaged wood pediments above our windows HERE & HERE.
I just wanted to focus on cozy, simple touches of Christmas.
But honestly, who am I kidding, my husband thinks I’m going winter wonderland crazy! Haha!
You can find this big bell HERE and this wreath (minus the christmas pine greenery, which I added)Â HERE.
This is the first year that I feel like I am really able to decorate the house of my dreams.
It’s been a long journey to get here, but I am so thankful. A little DIY here and there, and I see magic all around!
So that’s pretty much all for now. I am hoping to take better photos soon- but I couldn’t resist showing you all this happy space.
