Hey Friends! It’s been a while since I’ve shared any sort of party on here, so I thought it would be the perfect time to share this cheerful art themed tea party we did last year.
Before I get to the party, here is the link to this adorable Letter Board Set. We just started selling them as a limited edition product on House Hathaway.
I have hosted several adult watercolor nights at my home over the years. So my daughter wanted to have some friends over for a watercolor party of her own.
I may have gone a tad bit over board. But who cares when fun memories are made.
June and I made this rainbow layered cake. Honestly, it didn’t taste good at all. Bleh. But hey, it looked adorable.
Our little marshmallow topped cupcakes faired much better in the taste department. We had a pack of hatchimals, so we put one next to each teacup as a little party favor. Each girl got her own unique tea cup.
And we had to include a paint brush with each setting.
Our little hedgehog teacup held a bunch of our assorted paint brushes.
This was so fun to put together for my daughter- we collect whimsical tea cups together, so she finally got to use them all at once.
The kids had a blast.
We printed out some of my Animal Watercolor Coloring Sheets (HERE and HERE), and each guest picked which one she wanted to paint.
All in all, I think it was a success.
Happy times. It makes me want to get back to normal life so bad. But no matter what life throws at us, you will always find me trying to create something beautiful over here.
