Thanks for stopping by today! Only a few more days left in our
Today I get to share with you my Absolute Favorite Tutorial:
High Heel Cupcakes!!!!!
{Everyone scream together!!!!}
Super Cute, huh?
I was super inspired by How Does She’s adorable version and just had to make them for my sister’s surprise party!
First, you bake your cupcakes. You want them to have a nice mound.
Next, sculpt them into the “style” of Heel you want to create. Every heel should have a little indent to act as the opening of the sole.
Now frost with your royal icing. I have a wonderful, Easy Royal Icing Recipe Here.
We found that it was easier with the royal icing to decorate them without the liners on. We ended up putting them back on after we were done.
For the soles, we cut graham crackers and decorated them with coordinating colors of royal icing to each of our cupcakes.
For the heels, we used pirouette cookies cut at an angle and secured them to the graham crackers with melted chocolate.
Don’t they look aDorAbLe all assembled?!
They are very fragile, so you don’t want to make them more than a day before your event.
We had so much fun garnishing them by piping white and dark chocolate. You can even add candies and sparkly sprinkles for different effects! Be your own fashion designer!
Which one do you like best?
{we were all fighting over them!!!}
Hope you give this awesome idea a try!
Making them isn’t as scary as it seems….
Well…. it’s a messy journey, but don’t give up like I almost did! The end result is so worth it! 😉
