I can’t wait to stop living out of a box and be able to work on all the “homebased” projects I’ve been longing to try out!
I am am obsessed with browsing DIY home decor websites like Dear Lillie, Shanty 2 Chic, Sarah M. Dorsey Designs, and Vintage Revivals. They are all such talented ladies! The first time I discovered the “Do It Yourself World,” I felt a hole in my heart was filled- because I knew that that was exactly the creative out-lite that I needed! Sounds sappy right?
Now days I feel like I am limited to putting up graphic design posts. I mean, I am going back in forth between living with my parents (who are actually moving right now) and my in-laws. I am trying to be very patient while waiting to have own space to make beautiful.
While I love, love, LOVE graphic design, I don’t want all my projects to be graphic posts.
I want to build headboards, paint walls, design rooms, and put down some roots!
I just wanted to give you all a heads up about my vision for the future of my blog.
As soon as Silas gets done with his USMC training and we get to our permanent duty station, I’m going to have a blast creating & sharing my progress with you all (I have some GREAT ideas to try out!) Right now I’m so limited in content that it is driving me crazy! 😛

Thanks for the sweet note! I'm so glad you like it! The font is actually my handwriting. I used a tablet to draw directly into photoshop to create it. Sorry! :-/

HI Lena, I believe that I made those textures by photographing a textured piece of paper and increasing the contrast, then adjusting the hue. I'm sure that you can google textures and find one similar. Hope that helps! XO

I have some prints that I found on Pinterest that I printed out and hung on my wall. All of them are in gold cursive. I was wondering if you could do some downloadable prints on a white background in gold cursive that said "Home is where my husband is" and "Home is where my wife is". I would be willing to pay for the digital download of those prints.
