Make your Own Stuffed Elephant

Meet Elli.

“She’s my bestest friend!”

“Here is how my mommy made her:”

After printing & cutting out your pattern pieces, you need to assemble them as illustrated above. Tape the pieces connected by the dark grey strips.

This is the cut out fabric… before I ironed it. 🙂 Sew the ears, and after you flip them from being inside out, sew them on to the body (with a few inches below the top!!!) Sew the face together and then on to the body.

Here is how to do the legs. Sew them with the pattern parts facing each other, then turn them inside out (which will make them right side out 🙂 Then sew the tummy leg parts together, just leaving a hole big enough so you can stuff it. (hmmmm.. should really iron that fabric! :P) Sew that tail on! Stuff, fluff, & sew the button eyes and bow on! Ta-Da!

Elli really wasn’t that hard to make- and is totally adorable!

She’s 13″ high and 17″ long (trunk to tail)

“Elli and I do everything together… We LOVE playing together!”

“To all my Baby Friends reading this: Hope your mommy makes you your own Elli too!!”

The End.

thank you for stopping by!

What are the dimensions? I would love to make one of my own, how much fabric did you need all together?

Glad you like it! She's 12" high and 18" long (trunk to tail)… I would say a yard would be more than safe.

I am actually putting a pdf pattern together to sell on my Etsy Site. It will be done soon. Just in case you are interested.

    Love, Hannah

I've made this for my daughter's best friend for her birthday. Here's how it turned out (he's just about to be wrapped up!):
